4.200 Tim PUBG Mobile Sudah Terdaftar di Cabor Esports PON XX Papua 2021

PUBG Mobile secara resmi diumumkan satu dari empat gim esports yang akan dipertandingkan dalam Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XX Papua 2021.

Selain PUBG Mobile, gim lain yang juga dipertandingkan dalam ajang ini adalah Free Fire, Mobile Legends, dan eFootball PES 2021.

Bertujuan untuk menjaring bibit player esports berbakat di Indonesia, Pengurus Besar Esport Indonesia (PBESI) dan pengembang gim mengumumkan telah menutup pendaftaran tim yang berlaga di PON XX Papua 2021 pada hari Rabu, 8 September 2021.

Sejak dibuka pada 26 Agustus 2021, sudah ada lebih dari 4,200 tim esports (1 tim terdiri dari 4 orang) yang mendaftarkan diri dari seluruh provinsi di Indonesia.

Dikutip dari keterangan resmi, Kamis (9/9/2021), seluruh tim esports tersebut akan mengikuti kualifikasi serentak di 33 provinsi di seluruh Indonesia pada 11-12 September 2021.

Adapun babak kualifikasi provinsi sendiri bersifat terbuka, dan akan digelar secara virtual untuk mencari perwakilan tim terbaik yang akan dipertandingkan kembali pada Pra-PON.
